
A Loving man was arrested and charged with first degree murder for the stabbing death of Jorge Trevizo, 48 of El Paso, Texas, according to the Eddy County Sheriff’s Office.
John Bowels Williams, 43, was held on bail and no bond at the Eddy County Detention Center following his arrest for the homicide. Williams was also charged with tampering with evidence, according to Eddy County Sheriff Mark Cage.
Deputies were dispatched to a home in the Village of Loving May 20 around 2:07 a.m. and found Trevizo unconscious though breathing, a release from the Sheriff’s Office read.

Cage said Trevizo was taken to Carlsbad Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
